What happens when we arrive for the first time? When you arrive, one of our team members will greet you and help you get your child checked in. We’ll walk you through where to go, introduce you to your child’s leader, and make sure you feel completely comfortable before you head into service.
How does check-in and pickup work?We use Planning Center Online Check-in, and you will receive a label printed out with a secure code on the tag. After the service, you'll come to the door to pick up your child. This ensures every child is safely released to the right person.
What if my child is nervous or it’s their first time away from me?That’s completely normal. Our team is experienced in helping kids feel comfortable at their own pace. You’re welcome to stay for a few minutes, and we’ll partner with you to make the transition smooth. If your child isn’t ready, that’s okay—we’ll work with you.
Can I stay with my child during the service? We understand that a child’s first time at a new place can make them a little hesitant. We support parents who want to ease their child into the classroom by sitting in a few minutes at the start. However, if your child is still not comfortable, please consider trying again next time you visit. What if my child needs me during the service? If your child needs you for any reason, we’ll come get your right away.
What about allergies or medical needs? Please let us know at check-in. Our team will clearly note any allergies or instructions so we can care for your child appropriately.
Do I need to bring anything for my child? For younger children, feel free to bring any essentials (diapers, bottles, comfort items). For older kids, just bring themselves—we’ve got the rest covered.
Are your volunteers trained and background checked?Yes. Every volunteer is background checked and trained to create a safe, caring, and engaging environment for your child.
How are kids grouped?Kids are placed in age-appropriate environments so teaching and activities are tailored to their stage of development.
What are kids actually doing during the service? Each week includes a mix of:
- Bible teaching at their level
- Games and activities
- Time to build friendships
We want kids to learn about Jesus in a way that's engaging and meaningful
What time should we arrive? We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes early on your first visit so we can help you get checked in without feeling rushed.
